After a couple of years volunteering with us, we're saying a very big thank you to Sarah as she moves on to her next volunteering role.
Volunteering has been part of Sarah's life for many years, including time with the food bank and the hospice movement. Sarah likes to move between different volunteering roles, and we're very glad that Gleadless Library has been one of them.
One of the things Sarah has enjoyed most about being here is talking to people about books. Finding out what someone likes to read, helping them discover something they might enjoy and, just as importantly, having a chat.
Sarah may be moving on from volunteering with us, but thankfully this isn't goodbye. She'll still be popping into the library to borrow books, so we'll continue to see her.
Thank you, Sarah, for everything you've done for Gleadless Library. We wish you all the very best for whatever comes next.
